About Us: 
We are Texans united in a common cause - creating one America out of the two we live with now. We support Sen. John Edwards' efforts to aid the working poor, to grow the middle class, and to build that one America for all of us.
In our America, hope replaces despair, and optimism over-rules pessimism. In our America, good old-fashioned hard work is valued as much as wealth, and everyone has the opportunity to live the American dream. In our America, no one is better than any other - liberal or conservative; rich or poor; black, white or brown; from Wall Street to the Lower Ninth Ward, we all have equal worth and equality under the law.
We believe that in our America, nobody should ever go to bed hungry. Everyone is entitled to a living wage. Everyone should have the health care that they need, without having to mortgage their futures. Our children should have the best education possible, and the safest schools we can provide them. Our country will be secure and our citizens protected. The less-fortunate will receive the hand-up they so desperately need. Everyone will be free to worship as they will, and be free to love as they choose, for we will not legislate hate. Our America will return to her position of respected world leader. Our government will work for us, not against us; and the Constitution will be our rule of law, not something to be disregarded.
We will raise the minimum wage, and make it a living wage.
We will strengthen the unions, for labor is the backbone of our economy.
We will strive to eliminate poverty, for no one should be left to fall through the cracks of society.
We are focused on the future.
We will turn Texas blue again.
